PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Electrolytic Salt Hypochlorous Acid Water Generator | For Fresh‑Cut Produce Processing

Product Overview

The Electrolytic Salt Hypochlorous Acid Water Generator is a fully automatic on‑site disinfectant production system custom‑built for the fresh‑cut produce industry. Using sodium chloride and pure water as raw materials, it produces high‑purity hypochlorous acid (HClO) disinfectant on‑site via high‑precision electrolysis. It delivers a continuous supply of sanitizing water for raw material washing, immersion disinfection, CIP pipeline cleaning, as well as workshop and tool sanitization.

There is no need to purchase, store or transport various chemical agents. After sanitization, the disinfectant breaks down into ordinary water with no harmful residues, complying with global food‑safety regulations.

Industry Pain Points

• High fresh‑cut produce loss: Cut vegetables are prone to browning and microbial spoilage, resulting in short shelf‑life and heavy losses from discarded or returned finished products.
• Drawbacks of traditional bleach and quaternary ammonium sanitizers: Strong irritating chlorine odor, corrosion to conveyor belts and stainless‑steel pipelines, and risks of chemical residues.
• High operational costs: Expenses for disinfectant procurement, transportation and storage; labor‑intensive manual chemical‑dosing procedures.
• Biofilm buildup inside washing tanks and CIP pipelines, which poses persistent food‑safety hazards.
• Export‑oriented fresh‑cut processors struggle to meet HACCP, FDA and EU food‑contact material standards.

Core Advantages

1.Raw Materials: Only Salt (Sodium Chloride) + Pure Water

On‑site electrolysis eliminates hazardous‑chemical risks. There is no requirement to purchase, store or transport pre‑made hazardous disinfectants. Hypochlorous acid is generated on‑demand, removing safety risks associated with hazardous‑chemical warehousing and handling.

2.Food‑Grade Sanitization for Fresh‑Cut Production
Maintains stable pH of 5.0‑6.5. Kills
E. coli, Salmonella and Listeria within seconds with a 99.999% bactericidal rate. It helps degrade pesticide residues, inhibits browning of cut vegetables and extends shelf‑life without compromising produce flavor, crispness or color. Secondary rinsing may be omitted under appropriate concentration conditions.

3.Seamless Integration into Fresh‑Cut Processing Lines
Delivers continuous sanitized‑water output. Directly compatible with bubble washers, soaking tanks, flume systems and CIP cleaning circuits. Adjustable water‑flow rate and available‑chlorine concentration suit leafy greens, root vegetables, ready‑to‑eat salads and other produce types.

4.Low‑Corrosion & Fully‑Automatic Operation
Features ruthenium‑iridium‑coated titanium electrolytic cell for long service life. PLC touch‑screen control provides real‑time monitoring of concentration, pH and ORP. Functions include automatic salt feeding and fault alerts; remote monitoring is available as an option. Low corrosivity toward stainless‑steel equipment, conveyor belts and plastic turnover crates.

5.Export‑Oriented Compliance
Meets food‑contact safety requirements. CE, ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 certificates are available. SDS documentation for customs clearance can be supplied, making it ideal for export‑focused fresh‑cut processing plants.

FAQ

Q1: Will hypochlorous acid alter vegetable taste?
A1: When applied at recommended working concentrations, there is virtually no chlorine odor, and produce flavor, crispness and color remain unaffected.

Q2: Is post‑immersion rinsing required for vegetables treated with hypochlorous acid?
A2: Always follow local food‑safety regulations. Under suitable concentration ranges, light rinsing or no rinsing is feasible for most fresh‑cut processing projects.

Q3: Can the unit connect to a plant’s existing washing production line?
A3: Yes. We can customize water‑output capacity and connection interfaces to match customers’ existing bubble washers, soaking tanks and CIP systems.
