The ion-exchange membrane electrolyzer differs from the diaphragm-free electrolyzer by incorporating an ion-exchange membrane between the anode and cathode. The type of membrane is selected based on different materials suited for various applications and operating environments. Initially applied in the chlor-alkali industry, ion-exchange membrane electrolyzers have in recent years been adopted in other fields, such as water treatment, organic electrosynthesis, industrial hydrogen production, electrolysis of sodium chloride to produce chlorine-based disinfectants, and acid-base recovery via solution electrolysis.

The ion-exchange membrane electrolyzer designed and manufactured by our company features different membranes selected according to specific applications, separating the anode and cathode into two distinct chambers. With a modular design, it can be configured flexibly based on actual needs. Each module is equipped with liquid inlet and outlet ports, enabling recirculating electrolysis and offering high integration.

Furthermore, our technology department, with deep expertise in this field, has developed a tubular diaphragm electrolyzer, which reduces costs while improving electrolysis efficiency. Custom specifications for other applications are also available upon request.
